Fluentbody™ is a guided somatic movement practice, developed in Berlin by its founder Florencia Lamarca. It is a method that meets you where you are and empowers you to guide yourself home to the wisdom of your body.

Through gentle guidance and movement invitations we open ourselves up to physical and emotional sensations, allowing our bodies to speak what’s true in their own time.

Fluentbody™ is not teaching you anything new, it is simply reminding your body of tools it already knows. With breath, shaking, somatic practices and intuitive movement, we support ourselves to integrate all the messiness, beauty and treasures of life.

It is a space that welcomes the wholeness of you without the need to change, to perform or to reach any particular destination. A softening and slowing down to the pace and rhythms of your body so that we might become more sensitive to the messages from within.

Together, we create a nourishing space for our minds and bodies to express, to rest and simply to be, free from the bounds of right or wrong.

What is Fluentbody?

Fluentbody™ classes are for all who wish to deepen their connection with their bodies - gently, curiously, and in community with others.

It is an inclusive and gentle space where you are welcomed as you are with all parts of yourself. We invite our tenderness, tiredness, power, awkwardness, joy, messiness, hope…and everything in between. All the parts we know and all the parts we’re yet to meet.

No movement, meditation or dance experience is necessary, simply a curiosity to connect with your body.

Classes with Harry

Do I need a yoga mat?

There is no need for a yoga mat. Most of the class is spent on our feet. Sometimes we come down to the floor for integration, support and grounding. If you would like the option of a yoga mat then you are welcome to bring one.

Can I wear shoes?

Barefeet is recommended as it helps us to connect with the ground. Dance shoes are also okay if that feels more comfortable for you.

Is Fluentbody a dance class?

We may ‘dance’ but it is not a dance class. There is no choreography, only guidance to help you to unfold to the sensations of your body.
